Producer/engineer/musician, Jamie began as a sound engineer at Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music’s Gallery Studios in 1994, and has been working as a freelance engineer, producer and composer since 1999.
He has engineered for many producers including Chris Thomas, Brian Eno, John Leckie, Rhett Davies and of course Phil Manzanera.
He co-produced Robert Wyatt's album "Cuckooland" which was Mercury nominated in 2004, and also has credits with Paul Weller, David Gilmour, Bryan Ferry, Razorlight, Phil Manzanera, Chrissie Hynde, Thea Gilmore, Tim Rice, Annie Lennox, Phil Collins, The Damned, Ed Harcourt and Ibrahim Aziz.
Annie-Grace is a London based professional vocalist, she is all about the soul & funk.
Turning her love into a career she has studied vocals to a degree level at The Academy of Contemporary Music. Her love has allowed her to perform with artists such as Beverley Knight, Will young, Pixie Lott & Robbie Williams. Her talent has also taken her around the world including Dubai, Malaysia & the US. She has worked at some of the UKs most prestigious venues including The Royal Albert hall, The O2 Indigo, Ronnie Scotts & continues her residency at The Arts club in Mayfair.
Christina hase served over 25 years within the music industry as a professional performer and writer. Her early years of brass band training has enabled her to take part in many and varied musical projects from jazz orchestras to funk fusion and pop bands. In addition, Christina has a versatile vocal ability, which has captured many audiences as she mixes it with her instrumental skills, reinforcing her talent as an entertainer. Her ability to improvise in the moment is powerful and entrancing. This is translated in her skills within the studio environment working on various dance music projects, albums and numerous sessions.
In all genres, Christina's unusual blend of voice and musical skills with her flugel horn, trumpet and flute make her combination with other musicians a treat for any occasion.
John Simpkin has played with Peach for the last ten years or so. Previously he played with the Dragonflies.
Moby Pomerance, attended Berklee, played around and did session work in New York before falling down a chasm in the Antarctic where he was partially eaten by penguins. After surviving by chewing off his own leg, he clawed his way out several years later. He often likes courgettes, but not as much as playing the guitar. Many thanks to Tony for allowing me to play on this terrific album.
After graduating from Salford University with a first class honours degree in Popular music & Recording, Luke has played in, written music for, and recorded a number of different musical projects, set up his own company as a private guitar tutor, and toured extensively with You Me At Six. He has recently graduated from the Institute of Acoustics diploma course, for which he was awarded the IOA prize for achieving the highest overall grade nationwide.
Tom began performing and recording at a young age. By 15 he had played guitar and vocals at the Birmingham NIA and in a week long tour around Barcelona. More recently he has played in venues such as the Camden Barfly and the 02 Islington Academy in his band as lead guitarist/vocalist. Heavily influenced by blues, Tom is also inspired by genres ranging from acoustic to hardcore, which combined, can be heard in his raw, sincere vocals.
Paulo Freitas was born on the 21st July 1984 in Madeira, Portugal. His musical career started in 1996, when he won two Portuguese TV shows - "Cantigas da Rua" at just eleven years old and the worldwide known "Bravo Bravíssimo" at the age of twelve, where he represented Portugal in the final, in Cremona, Italy.
Since then, Paulo has performed as a solo artist in Portugal and London and as lead vocalist in bands of different styles: reggae, rock, funk, jazz, sixties, eighties and modern music.
Performing as a Singer and Pianist in a casino and several 5 star hotels, luxury restaurants, live music bars and private events, helped to build the artist he is today.
Paulo currently lives and performs in London.
sugaspott is an underground rap artist, born and bred in Zimbabwe where he was active since 2002. Christened Shingirai Kaserera, he moved to London in 2005, leaving behind the violence and misogyny with a view to seek fun, spread love and indulge new experiences.
He is a hard worker, who has who has shared stages with Major Baldini, Swami Baracus, Apache Indian and Navin Kundra. Hailed ?hip hop'?s rising star? by The Daily Express, The Zimbabwe Herald tipped him to be the next successful musical export. The newcomer has tango'ed with The Brentford Festival, Padington Festival and the Golborne World Music Festival. With a witty flow, he is now independently releasing and distributing his music and looking to further his opportunities.
His raps are crafted around a refreshingly honest approach to lyricism and story-telling and his key goal is positivity. "?Hip hop has too many bad guys and I guess it?s about time a good guy took the mantle and carried the burden" professes Shingirai.
With a decent catalog available across major digital platforms such as iTunes and Amazon, thus far, he has released a number of EP'?s?.
Most of his music gives opinions on everyday social issues and yet not afraid to have a party whilst at it. Lisa Parker of ?The EP Project?, reviewing Damage Limitation called it ?something special, memorable and emotional?. Tom Robinson of BBC 6Music and Fresh On The Net was also impressed by his material and subsequently introduced it on his show.
Magnus is an accomplished lyricist from London. Starting as a part time poet he transferred these skills to write lyrics using melody to wordsmith fascinating lyrics. Magnus combines the production rhyme and combines it with the ability to take the listener by the hand and walk them through a story of vivid imagination and personal experiences. He embraces many styles and strives to write creative catchy lyrics with appeal and meaning.
